The Community Garden teaches our Members about horticulture, botany, sustainability, and team-building efforts. We will offer instructions about composting, maintaining your garden throughout the year, eating from seed to table, and the best techniques for keeping your garden beautiful, healthy, and insecticide-free.

Opportunities will arise to learn about Florida soil, landscaping your yard, and garden and yard maintenance. You will learn tips for sustainability to create an ecological balance in your world, and the best way to produce compost.

Planting- seeds, plants, soil combinations, watering, seasonal planting
